Maybe this one is because my grandson is visiting & he’s a dosa fanatic.

But I have to say, I’d love to be able to teleport the family to ‘Chutney Maami’ for grabbing this Sunday bite together.

Or perhaps Swiggy or Zomato could start an inter-state drone delivery service…(yes, yes, I know the Dosa will wilt.. but who knows?)

A family in Gujarat filed a ₹22.75 lakh death claim with PNB MetLife. Rejected.

The insurer's reason: the policyholder had hidden a history of tuberculosis.

They had documents. Certificates. Hospital records. On paper it looked airtight.

Then someone filed an RTI with the very hospital the insurer was pointing to. The reply came back: no record of any TB treatment for this man. None.

And the commission's problem wasn't only the missing record. It was that PNB MetLife never examined the people who issued its "evidence," and never produced independent medical proof. It built a rejection on paper it couldn't stand behind.

The Gujarat State Commission ordered ₹22.75 lakh with 8% interest and ₹7,000 costs. The NCDRC threw out the insurer's appeal.

An allegation is not evidence. They confused the two, and it cost them.
