गांधी जी की वकालत दक्षिण अफ्रीका में फेल हो चुकी थी.

गोपाल कृष्ण गोखले के बुलावे पर गांधी जी 1915 में बॉम्बे (मुंबई) आए.

ब्रिटिश काल में राजा, वाइसराय और अन्य VVIP लोगों का आगमन Apollo Bunder यानी आज के गेटवे ऑफ इंडिया पर होता था.

जहां दक्षिण अफ्रीका में छोटा सा आंदोलन करना मुश्किल था वहीं भारत मे पांच के भीतर गांधी जी राजनीति में स्थापित हो गए.

बाद में घनश्यामदास बिड़ला और जमनालाल बजाज ने गांधी जी को गरीबों की तरह जीवन यापन करने पर भारी आर्थिक सहायता की. गरीबी जीने के लिए भी रुपया लगता था.

गांधी जी बहुत महान थे. उनको याद कर मेरे आंसू आ जाते हैं.
