" ….the Vice Chancellor was sent on forced leave for ninety days and an inquiry was
initiated against him on comparatively minor pretexts, that too after an unexplained lapse of seven months. For the alumni watching from every corner of the country, it felt as though our hope was being snatched away for the second time.

We ask, respectfully but pointedly: why did this happen? It happened because the Vice Chancellor tried to curb corruption and corrupt practices on campus. He investigated a huge financial embezzlement scam and lodged an FIR with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) against those
responsible. He further investigated the matter of fake degrees and, after due process, secured the cancellation of around five hundred and forty two fraudulent degrees, presenting the case before the Syndicate in its meeting of 17 May 2026.

This was a severe blow to the corrupt mafia entrenched within and around the university, who then used every resource and influence at their disposal to thwart his reform efforts. They ultimately

I received a phone call today by someone claiming to be from the military, the person sent me my excise sheet and footage from the motorway toll plaza of my vehicle entering the highway. He claimed that I had passed his vehcile while over speeding and that he had barely survived the crash after I had sped away. He demanded a compensation of 1.2 million. The only fact is that the date he mentioned I was out of the country. I told him to share his particulars, he then named a senior military official, claiming to be his nephew. And that he would have me picked up.
Regardless that this was scam to extort money, I understand that it’s not difficult to get details of vehicles or assets, but how come he managed to retrieve the camera footage from a motorway toll plaza, which is basically surveillance footage controlled by the government. Is the system that compromised that our data is so easily available to anyone who can buy it? Are criminals now operating in tandem with networks deep within our surveillance system? Is there any accountability at any level?
