@BenjiNaesen Shame we can’t watch the first part of the stage because the break has Armirail, Tuckwell, Johannessen and Martin all with teammates so I don’t think this break gets pulled back, I think GC guys will need to jump across on the climbs mid stage
@BenjiNaesen TDF 2020 - Best GC battle I have watched and one of the last times where we had a GC battle where different riders were better each day and we had drama all the way to the final day.
@BenjiNaesen Why do you think so many teams are happy to let Vingegaard win today. Surely some teams without a GC rider would want to have a go & some GC teams would want riders ahead. This feels like a day that should get some DS’s fired for terrible tactics that don’t benefit their team
@RokerReport No without VAR we never get promoted. VAR used correctly is a great thing that prevents games being decided by refereeing mistakes. The problem with VAR is that currently it creates about as many refereeing errors as it prevents. It should still be there but needs big improvement
@BenjiNaesen Exactly what Skjelmose deserved, kept pulling despite a teammate behind and stupid enough to let himself get stuck leading out from the front.
@LucGrefte Watson shouldn’t have sat in Ganna’s wheel though while he was doing it. Likely cooked himself and compromised his sprint because he went backwards once he opened up his sprint
@BenjiNaesen I think Onley crashed on the descent, hasn’t been on the camera since they got over the top. Svedstad hasn’t dropped back for him if he was just dropped and the splits were too big to have just been bad descending
@BenjiNaesen Abrahamsen cost us a special finish there. One hard turn for 5-10 seconds and he can get into MVDP’s wheel to get a leadout and potential cost MvDP the win
@Capt_Fishpaste If we pay the option to buy we have in his loan then immediately sell for a profit that would be some good business. Quality player though who has been unlucky not to get a run in the team who is likely to shine when he gets the run in a set position
@BenjiNaesen Had a look at what teams I would select and the rockets are far stronger. I was struggling with Caja to even get a few who would warrant a start at the TDF
Rockets - Groenewegen, Reinders, Kubis, Larsen, Lafay, Poels, Maire & Townsend
Caja - Gaviria, Oldani, Balderstone plus 5
@ALS_Fanzine Le Bris got this all wrong. 442 has not worked at all, midfield is no existent. Hume and Mundle as the wingers was a terrible decision as they offer nothing going forward and Hume can’t stop making mistakes. Need to Diarra on to go 433 and try to get some control in midfield
@RokerReport Depends whether Hume is the RWB in a back 5 or Right wing in a 4321. Happy if it’s 4321, disappointed if it’s a 5 back but I have learned to trust Le Bris so if he thinks we need to match their system I back him
@cyclingmole It would damage their competitiveness but if their World Tour licence for 2027 is dependent on improving their financial position a big buyout for the Onley could be the difference between keeping the licence or not
