A man has been sentenced in connection with the handling of stolen rural equipment.
Charlie Hughes, of Fosse Way, Ilchester, was sentenced for four counts of handling stolen goods after officers recovered one stolen tractor and three stolen trailers.

Three men were sentenced on Friday after thousands of pounds worth of stolen agricultural machinery were discovered in Somerset.
In 2022, officers investigating the theft of machinery found stolen items on two separate occasions.

On Wednesday, Chief Constable Sarah Crew joined the Rural Affairs Unit at a crime prevention event at Frome Market.
