@mrscee07@joanieknits Did the case he cited involve judicial decisions re: discovery due to relevance or because of something the judge inferred occurred but didn’t have proof of? This seems, to me, a bit of an empty threat and overreaction from the court
@Dan_Donovan_17@EricChristens18 I definitely don’t expect much recollection from him. But that goes right back to me original comment because if everyone in this case really means it when they say they have nothing to hide & truth is on their side then just sit for the depo!!
@Dan_Donovan_17@CourtneyC426 You’re showing again that you don’t quite understand. Usually one attorney would be leading a depo. That is the person who prepped and would need to be present
@Dan_Donovan_17@stephmichele79 You have some of this wrong. KR’s team canceled/to be rescheduled his first depo date & indicated some days they were/weren’t available. Then the other parties scheduled their depo an unavailable date. All while no docs have been turned over. So her team hasn’t had their depo
@stephmichele79@Dan_Donovan_17 That’s how I understood the situation as well. It seems like everyone is playing games yet everyone, both sides, has been saying they’re innocent and have nothing to hide - so why not just sit for the depo?!
@Dan_Donovan_17 I actually did listen to one of the hearings re: Colin and your assertion is misleading. Karen’s attorneys subpoenaed him but he hasn’t sat for their depo. And I believe the judge has told Colin’s attorneys to figure out how to get him scheduled asap.
@mrscee07 I don’t disagree with you, but what about the fact that Karen read was acquitted yet the spokespersons for these witnesses go on their show and call her a murderer?
@bishalot@DoctorTurtleboy I think most defense attorneys would advise against taking the stand, for many reasons. Especially if they didn’t believe the CW proved their case beyond a RD. I’d be curious if any defense attorney out there could say that they would’ve advised Karen read to take the stand.
@theymattered25 This is misleading. The judge determined the MTD by assuming all of the plaintiff’s claims/ accusations were true. So it should be: “IF KR had a media campaign with TB, as accused by the plaintiff, then there’s a claim.”
