On Day 1 of my administration, I will take on the fentanyl and opioid crisis by elevating the Drug Czar (ONDCP Director) to my cabinet. This action assures parents that we are making this one of my top domestic priorities. I will add resources to secure the border and the Mexican Cartels will be Public Enemy #1.

I will be in the Iowa Caucus; on the N.H. and Fl. Primary ballots and many others. I did not file for the South Carolina ballot knowing it is a winner take all state with 2 favorite SC candidates. I went to college in SC and met my bride there so I love the state but this is the best way to elect non-Trump delegates.

As Governor of Arkansas, I was able to shrink the size of government, balance the state budget, and leave a $2 billion surplus by watching every single penny.

That is exactly what we need to do in Washington, D.C. and as President, I will.

What happened today on the floor of the House of Representatives is a gift to Democrats. It sets off alarm bells as the 2024 election nears. There is hope across America but Washington is broken. And today the GOP illustrated the dysfunction. Let’s now pull together to elect leaders who can change things.

Despite falling short of the RNC's polling requirement for inclusion in the second Presidential Primary Debate, I will continue our campaign to bring out the best of America with events scheduled in Iowa, New Hampshire, and across the country in the next several weeks.

I understand that the RNC and the media are trying to reduce the number of candidates, but I measure success based on the response I receive in early primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire.

My goal is to increase my polling numbers to 4% in an early state before Thanksgiving.

If that goal is met, then I remain competitive and in contention for either Caucus Day or Primary Day.

I entered this race because it is critically important for a leader within the Republican Party to stand up to Donald Trump and call him out on misleading his supporters and the American people.

I intend to continue doing that and look forward to holding a press conference in Detroit on Wednesday where I will highlight his false promises to blue collar and union workers in Michigan and across America.
