@PensAndLens1@myswearyaccount@GBPolitcs I’d believe it, same as the smooth haired fox terrier and Irish wolfhound, all the native breeds are dying out, especially those that were working breeds
@C_Small_@BovrilG Homicidal tendencies, are these self-reported urges or based on actual murders ?
if the latter it may be due to the added agency and proactivity caused by the drug
@JamesPi80372206@actsmaniac@guypbenson Gaza is on the opposite side of Israel to the West Bank. Separate territories with separate Palestinians with Israel in between
@n8935f83@TRobinsonNewEra You don’t press charges in the UK, it’s the CPS who does that, you as a victim don’t have any say whether or not the police and the crown do anything
Cmon that’s hyperbole 😂 It’s an authoritarian state but it’s not like how you described, they couldn’t given a f about bugging a random students room or following them through the country.
Lived there for 7 years, studied in Fudan and SHU. Only students we were prohibited from socialising with were the N.Koreans in SHU, not that we want to.
@manc689909@SlushMuppyPup23@uniquefurnish More universities Ireland only has 6 or 7, desire to explore and go abroad, better access to courses (very hard to get into in demand courses in Ireland), get away from mammy
Lots of reasons, I went to China for Uni from Ireland
@venturetwins I got in trouble in university as I wrote a paper referencing an essay which I had written on the topic as an authoritative source, apparently it was academic dishonesty.
Clearly I was displaying frontier intelligence
@zarazhangrui I’ve created a mandatory skill for my writing style and switched to sonnet, it was really only with opus the Claude speak was an issue
Resolved a huge amount of the issues I had over the past 2 months
When I was working in China, one of the lawyers on my team had to give up her job as she was marrying a police officer, and it was prohibited for a spouse of a police officer to work for a foreign invested company. This is the level of control you expect from China, not from the UK.
You must report every conversation with a journalist to your bosses on threat of termination, even personal conversations.
That is honestly ruthless, but would be very interesting to see the actual phrasing of the policy, because if it is as she described, her contacting in a personal capacity, I don’t see how “if you have any conversation with a journalist, you should make a note and copy the press office” is anyway a reasonable policy to enforce.
