台湾驻澳总代表徐佑典称，澳大利亚与台湾合作意愿提升，开始理解须以“就台湾论台湾”方式合作，而非将台澳关系置于中澳关系之下。

他说，在中国恩威并施的政策下，澳洲政界因心理压力无法公开表态，但是澳大利亚开始冷静思考自身国家利益。

台湾要让堪培拉知道，跟台湾合作关乎澳大利亚利益。
