Australia-Taiwan Business Council Ltd takes a moment to reflect on the past year with gratitude for all the achievements and support received from our board, National Committee, members, and friends 🙏 Excited for the future collaborations ahead! 👍
🇦🇺continues to build our #energy partnership w/ Taiwan with the 1st MOU on green #hydrogen & ammonia signed btw Australian company H2U & Taiwan’s GreenHarvest. This is a significant step in investment & towards producing green ammonia in QLD for export globally, including to TW.
Australia will remain a reliable #energy partner for Taiwan as we together transition towards Net Zero. 🇦🇺 will become a #renewableenergy superpower by developing new, low emissions energy exports to support our partners’ energy security and decarbonisation efforts.
We thank the #US🇺🇸 Congress for passing H.R. 815, the National Security Supplemental, & @POTUS for swiftly signing it into law. The bill is a strong show of support for #Taiwan’s🇹🇼 defense & a testament to our shared commitment to democracy & #IndoPacific peace & stability.
@MOFA_Taiwan Dear Minister,
The words cannot express how honoured we have been working with you and watching all the efforts that you have been working towards to bring Taiwan to the next international stage. Thank you 🙏
Please keep up the great spirit and good work for your new role 👏👍
Building better community links between Australia and Taiwan is one of the things I love about my job. Many thanks to @AIIANational Victoria and Rowan Callick @CallickRow39318 for arranging this delegation. Wonderful to welcome them to the AO for a briefing.
Members on previous Australian delegations have been petrified about being photographed near 🇹🇼’s flag.
Not this one led by @ShayneNeumannMP and @AndrewWallaceMP.
They allowed the cameras in as they met President @iingwen — normal for other liberal democracies, but not for 🇦🇺
@EliGreenblat@australian While not wanting to be a downer on a very Good Friday eve for the Australian wine industry, here's a recent piece I reported in China about the huge structural decline in 🇨🇳'smarket.

So much creativity, ambition, & enterprise flowing between Taiwan & Queensland. An impressive group came together this week to farewell our #Queensland Trade Rep Patrick Hafenstein moving on after 6 very successful years. We discussed renewables, #biotech , medicine, IT & more.
🇦🇺 & Taiwan are strong & robust #democracies. Pleased to attend the launch of the Taiwan-Australia & New Zealand Parliamentary Amity Association. Congrats to Legislator & Association chairperson Alice Chiu - thank you for your continued support for stronger AUS & TW relations.
