The most loyal Democrats in America are broke ass postgrads who spent six figures on degrees and still make less than a union electrician.

People with postgraduate degrees pulling in $30,000-60,000 vote Democrat at 70%, harder than every other income and education combo in the country.

Thomas Sowell clocked these overcredentialed specimens years ago when he called them “intellectuals”, the ones whose entire currency is ideas instead of results.

A business owner or a farmer goes under when their ideas fail, while these people just get more grants, more peer approval, and another invitation to the same conference.

That is the actual base. The group that never has to live with the bill when everything they pushed turns to sewage.

Reality has a permanent anti-left bias because these people never have to pay for being wrong.

The most important question about any decision isn’t who’s smart enough to make it, but who actually has the knowledge to make it.

In 1945, Friedrich Hayek pointed out that most of what we need to know to make good decisions is never written down anywhere. It’s scattered in millions of people’s heads, about local prices, preferences, and circumstances that no single expert could ever collect.

Then in 1980, Thomas Sowell expanded that idea into a full theory in “Knowledge and Decisions”. Hayek himself called it one of the best explanations of his own work.
Sowell’s point is that political and legal systems concentrate decisions in a few “articulate” people, while markets let millions of people with direct knowledge decide for themselves.

Intentions are irrelevant. The question is who actually knows enough and who pays the price when they’re wrong.

I'm still amazed that the anti tariff people, including the scotus, gave Trump the weapon to impose long lasting tariffs that will be almost impossible for the anti tariff people to roll back, politically speaking.

All they had to do was accept the results of the election, allow Trump's trade policy of a global tariff to be implemented for his 4 years in office and if they were correct and it led to a crashing economy then change them in 2029.

That's it.

Instead, they fought him tooth and nail to defeat his liberation day tariffs and by doing so allowed him time to implement his real trade policies out of the media's spotlight.

After the scotus ruled against the IEEPA tariffs, the anti tariff people declared victroy and from all appearances abandoned the fight.

Meanwhile, immediately following the ruling Trump imposed basically the same worldwide tariff scheme of 10% using section 122 of the 1974 law (strange we havent heard about that endlessly from the media over the last 5 months)and started the longer process to impose the much tougher section 301 duties.

Now the section 122 tariffs are set to expire Friday and the section 301 tariffs are lock and loaded to replace them as soon as they do.

The 301 tariffs are a much tougher animal to defeat. The cause they cite for the tariffs is forced labor issues.

The USTR has proposed tariffs on more than 60 countries that covers about 99% of our trade. In other words, the new stronger tariffs will be about a 12.5% worldwide tariff as far as the US is concerned.

This is higher than the current 10% tariff.

Going forward, I can't wait for the anti tariff people to try to repeal these tariffs and admit they want slave labor and to sell that argument politically.

This whole saga is shaping up to be yet another epic backfire by the TDS group.

Riots are what happens when the state decides some neighborhoods are expendable.

In 1992, after the Rodney King verdict, LA cops pulled back from Koreatown to protect Beverly Hills and West Hollywood instead.

So the Korean shop owners, a lot of them military vets, grabbed their rifles and defended their property from the rooftops themselves.

They still lost over 2,300 businesses, but they didn’t just hand everything over to the mob.

The people who romanticize riots as the sacred and righteous screams of the downtrodden don’t want you remembering this story, because it proves one thing they hate, that when the authorities won’t protect you, you have every right and every duty to protect what’s yours.

For those that don’t know…

This week is “Oshkosh”, both an event and a place. For this one week every summer, Oshkosh briefly becomes the busiest airport in the world as aviation enthusiast from around the world gather.

Last year, 704,000 visited, with more than 10,000 airplanes flying in & 2,543 show planes on display. They use special air traffic control procedures as huge formations arrive, one after the other. Special landing procedures, too, and an army of volunteer Marshalers. The whole thing is sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA – see my pinned tweet).

It’s Mecca for the aviation community. You fly in, park your small plane on the grass & set up a tent (under the wing is you have a high-wing). Then you enjoy daily airshows, food, fireworks, movies, exhibitions & a whole range of activities.

I have never been. It’s extremely tough to get this week off at the airlines, and my kids logistics don’t help. One day, though…

For those who don’t understand why China having access to our voter registration data is a big deal:

Trump/Q told us in June 2020. They told us that China was duplicating millions of mail-in ballots in battleground states to steal 2020.

-Fake polls to validate future fraud
-Gain access to voter data
-Duplicate millions of mail-in ballots
-Deliver mail-in ballots to battleground states in middle of the night after poll watchers were told to leave
-Steal election
-Stage January 6th to prevent electors from challenging stolen election
-Use January 6th to censor any discourse around the stolen election
-All made possible by the release of man-made virus C19 and MSM fear campaign to push mass mail-in ballots

You can claim this is all conspiracy theory nonsense if you like, but the reality is, both Trump and Q were talking about China interfering in the 2020 election in real-time, and given the new Declassification, there appears to be some level of truth to it.

I think we are headed to the massive revelation that the Communist Dems conspired with the CCP to release a virus and duplicate millions of mail-in ballots, to overthrow the sitting President of the United States.

That would explain why Joe Biden inexplicably garnered 81 million votes, and why all the swing states jumped from Trump to Biden after truckloads of mail-in ballots arrived in deep blue counties in all the swing states.

The rabbit hole is deep.

On July 16th, while conducting aerial support for wildfires in Portugal, a CL-215 Super Scooper crashed into the bank of the Tagus River. The aircraft failed to pull out of the dip, coming to rest on the bank.

All three occupants were able to exit the aircraft unharmed. Europe continues to see a very active wildfire season, as fires burn across multiple countries, including Spain, Italy, Portugal, and more.
