Sorting it out, singing it loud.

NYC!
Are you coming to the #M4M4A march and rally? Saturday 7/24
March starts at noon at Washington Square Park, rally starts at 1pm at Broadway and Park Place (City Hall Park).
I’m beyond excited to be doing a couple songs at the rally— see you there!

Yesterday I learned a broken soul can look like an exploding orchid.
And that writing a song sometimes leads to a picture-in-progress.
Who knew?

Star-furnaces forged all elements
Burning hot and bright
Cranking out a world of sunlight
We’re made of stardust, you & me
Dancing through eternity

I’m quicksilver
But magnets can’t arrange me
Move quick, give you the slip
My only constant is my changing
Shape shifting liquid puzzle
Gonna blare the truth —
Threw off my muzzle

Betrayal
Whipped me into a cyclone of fury and fire
Spinning and twirling and wrecking for awhile
Until the smoke cleared and
I shook off the pile of ashes
And smiled.
That’s where my story begins —
