🇨🇦 6'6 PG/SG Dorian Glogovac (C/O 2025) is the HOTTEST RECRUIT in Canada right now!! He just became the first non-finalist since Kelly Olynyk in 2009 to be named BC 4A Provincial Tournament MVP, averaging a ridiculous 38.3 PPG through four games including an INSANE 53 PTS vs. #1 Spectrum (clips below).
Glogovac has impressive feel & shot creation abilities as a 6'6 guard, and is currently receiving interest from D1 programs Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Columbia, Colgate, Northeastern, UC Irvine, Davidson, Seattle U, Washington State, Buffalo & Eastern Washington.
One of the best uncommitted players in his class!!

Coaches, what you say to your players matters.
Words matter.
Here are 5 phrases that I believe all athletes need to hear from their coaches.
1. “I believe in you.”
Building in confidence in your players is critical for their success.
And team success.
And the words of the coach has a huge role in this.
Statements that show athletes that you believe in the impact they can have on a team are incredibly important.
2. “ The process is the prize.”
Being on the team and participating in sports is a journey.
Success does not happen overnight.
There will be ups and downs.
It is critical that kids know the process is what is important.
Help your athletes find joy in the journey.
3. “Failure is Growth.”
The fear of failure is something that holds many athletes back.
It is so important for kids to understand that failure is part of the process.
They need to have a failure as growth mentality.
Teach your athletes to not fear failure.
4. “Be great at what you’re good at.”
Role definition is critical on teams.
And too many coaches forget this.
Put athletes in a position where they can be successful.
Find a role that utilizes their strengths.
Encourage them to ‘be great at what they are good at.’
5. “Your role is important.”
Finally, every role matters on a team.
And it is critical for coaches to celebrate all of these roles.
Make sure your players know their value to the team.

Players:
Mental rehearsal is an every day thing!
1% of your day is about 15 minutes…take 15 minutes each day to image…
-you at your best
-your dream game
-the style in which you want to play
-being a great team mate
-how your coach wants you to play (related to their game model)
-your tactical responsibilities
-the challenges you may face against the opposition (or a specific opposition)
Create a blueprint on your mind and through your body during pockets of two and three minutes here and there…
A blueprint…recreated daily…can go a long way to developing game awareness, game knowledge, meta-thinking (reflecting on your game), readiness to perform, in-game self-regulation (to name a few advantages of using mental rehearsal)

Coaches. The little things matter.
How clean you keep your locker room. How you line up your helmets when not in use. Do your athletes touch the line every rep.
It’s a mindset that’s gets paired with action.
Consider this.
