@JohnathanPerk I’ve had this debate before, I think this is more of a non-southern white folks issue. I’ve always used washcloths as have all of my friends; but southern culture and habits are tied to African American culture for a variety of reasons.
@derrico_henrio And that issue has to do with cost, time, and folks who have neither. If you’re making people pay for right to vote either through administrative policies or actual cash, you’re intentionally putting blockers in place for poor, illiterate, or time precious people.
@derrico_henrio My only issue has to do with ID laws, and how someone has to go about getting one. If I can rock up with my original birth certificate fine. If you’re saying I have to jump through hoops to get a secondary ID (because license won’t have it) I have an issue.
@iris_frs Most Americans confuse anything that isn’t government assisted capitalism as communism. I say this as an American from a traditionally red state.
@LarryGreer20@BerlinResist And you think Biden somehow controls global gas prices? I live in Scotland, which is the largest generator of gas in the UK, and I pay about 8 dollars a gallon. You’re too old to be peddling this nonsense.
@Globalstats11@BRICSinfo Hate speech here is very much a thing, as is disinformation. Look at recent arrests for people here spreading disinformation and hate online which helped spawn riots. Jail time for all! Yay!
@alexarmstrong I mean, Magna Carta isn’t actually synonymous with the bill of rights or a constitution as it only refers to landed gentry and basically outlines rules around engaging with the monarchy.
