For your safety and well-being, all recreation and after-school programming have been canceled.
Due to potential inclement weather, all City of Atlanta Department of Parks & Recreation facilities will be closed Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25.
All recreation programming, including youth and adult basketball, is also canceled on these dates.

My team and I met with Friends of Chosewood Park and @ATLParksandRec to get an update on the Unity Bridge and upgraded Gault Street entrance. I am proud of this community-driven effort to create a safer and more welcoming gateway to the park!
Brownwood Park has undergone an incredible transformation, and this pavilion opening is another milestone made possible because we worked together.

In celebration of the 2026 World Cup coming to Atlanta, we’re looking for the hottest designers in the city! If selected, your design will be used as the official design for Parks & Recreation soccer initiatives to increase equitable access to soccer.
This contest is open to youth ages 11 through 24 and must be enrolled in a City of Atlanta public or private middle or high school and/or college/university within city limits.
