Yesterday, KRA hosted the Second Annual Project Meeting with the Norwegian Tax Administration (NTA), marking a significant step forward in strengthening global tax administration efforts. KRA and NTA have established a strong partnership aimed at enhancing KRA's capacity to effectively manage and administer tax systems in Kenya. This cooperation began with a shared interest in exploring opportunities for collaboration under the Tax for Development (TfD) Programme, focusing on improving various aspects of KRA's operations and service delivery. The NTA delegation, led by Øivind Strømme, International Director, joined us for productive discussions and knowledge sharing.
Key highlights included the review and signing of the 2024 Project Progress Report and the 2025 Work Plan, paving the way for continued success in our joint initiatives.
This partnership underscores our commitment to fostering international cooperation and driving innovation in tax administration.
