From 22 to 23 June 2026, Kigali will host the Inaugural Convention on South-South & Triangular Cooperation (#ICSSTrC), bringing together policymakers, diplomats, development partners, private sector leaders, and international organisations to advance collaboration across the Global South.
Organised by @Cooperation_RW in partnership with @UNDP_Rwanda , the convention will convene global and regional stakeholders to exchange knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and explore innovative approaches to sustainable development.
Under the theme “Strengthening collaboration and institutional frameworks for effective implementation”, the convention will focus on digital transformation, climate resilience, gender equity, financing for sustainable development, and citizen-centered partnerships through South-South and Triangular Cooperation.
The two-day convention will serve as a platform to strengthen collaboration, share practical solutions, and accelerate sustainable development through collective action and mutual learning.

🇸🇿 🇷🇼 Today, CEO @RNiwenshuti1 paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of #Eswatini@RussellMDlamini. During the meeting, he and the accompanying delegation provided an update on the progress of the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) project and sought the Prime Minister’s continued support as the initiative enters the final two years of implementation.
The IFMIS project is being implemented under a four-year cooperation agreement between #Rwanda and the Kingdom of #Eswatini, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening public financial management, enhancing accountability, and advancing digital transformation in government service delivery.

Today, @NishimweMG received a delegation of the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources from the Republic of #Zambia. Discussions focused on Rwanda’s land reform experience, particularly the systematic land registration process and digital land administration system.
A Malawi delegation is in Rwanda for a study visit on formalising motorcycle taxi & public transport systems, improving road safety, strengthening digital revenue collection & advancing urban mobility governance.
This visit has been supported by @undpmalawi & @FDHBankMalawi.
Today CEO @RNiwenshuti1, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini 🇸🇿 met with Minister of Finance Hon. Neal Rijkenberg to discuss the progress of the #IFMIS project implementation . The discussions focused on project coordination , assessing the completed work against the remaining deliverables and adopting practical solutions to optimize overall project performance and deliverables.
The CEO also met the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of finance and the Accountant General who both are the key stakeholders of the project.

🇹🇱 🇷🇼 Today, the @g7plus delegation from Timor-Leste successfully concluded their institutional study visit with a final evaluation session at Rwanda Cooperation. Throughout the week, the delegation engaged in technical discussions with public institutions to explore #Rwanda’s transformation journey, governance structures, and socio-economic development strategies. The closing session provided an opportunity for both teams to review key insights and discuss operational mechanisms to strengthen bilateral knowledge sharing moving forward.
