Humbled to receive recognition for what I consider my ‘normal daily work’, none of which could have been achieved without the amazing team @PDCNSW & its members, all of whom give so much of themselves to make #accessible change. Thanks @AbigailBoydMLC for your motion! @CIDvoice
Thanks to @AbigailBoydMLC and NSW Parliament for passing a motion on ‘the wide-reaching & lasting impact that Serena Ovens had in her role as CEO [of PDCN]..driving change that has improved the lives of countless people with physical disability.’

Thanks @johaylen for being well briefed and ready to work collaboratively to improve a broken system. We know there’s some easy wins that will provide much better outcomes for PWD that rely on this vital service & hope they can be administered quickly! @advocacynsw@CIDvoice
Excellent to join with SCIA to meet Transport Minister @johaylen discussing the ongoing problems PWD experience using taxis.
The Minister was very receptive and is looking to improve wheelchair accessible taxi services and deal with TTSS issues. We look forward to meeting again.

Thanks to the amazing ATSA team for another great expo in Perth & gala dinner tonight. Putting these fabulous events together ensure PWD and the OTs that prescribe it can get up close & personal with the latest assistive tech @PermobilCares @OttobockAust
As our population ages, we need more homes that are accessible to all. Unfortunately, NSW is 1 of only 2 states in that are yet to adopt building regulations that will make new houses more accessible. It’s time to change that. For more info visit https://t.co/WZznYdbTvA
Great to hear how OTs can assist people with disability to access fabulous #assistive technologies to live their best life. Great info provided by @RemarkableTech @Monash_OT at the ATSA expo this morning. @PDCNSW @dana_advocacy @advocacynsw
@TransportforNSW Some great initiatives here to begin to solve the WAT taxi crisis we face in NSW. So important we prioritise these vehicles for #pwd who can only travel in this manner.
