The ATT Secretariat is pleased to share that, by the 31 May 2026 reporting deadline, and a subsequent 7-day grace period, ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ submitted their 2025 ATT Annual Report covering authorized or actual exports and imports of conventional arms during the 2025 calendar year.
Under ๐๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐น๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ฏ(๐ฏ) of the Arms Trade Treaty, States Parties are required to submit annual reports on their transfers of conventional arms by 31 May each year. Timely reporting remains an important contribution to the Treatyโs objectives of ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐, ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ-๐ฏ๐๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด, and ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐บ๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐.
The ATT Secretariat thanks all reporting States Parties for their timely submissions and encourages those that have not yet reported to do so at the earliest opportunity.

Finally, ๐ฎ๐ด ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ took advantage of the mechanism to reduce Statesโ reporting burdens by authorizing the ATT Secretariat to transmit their Annual Report to the UN Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) for use as the basis of their submission to the United Nations Register of Conventional Arms (UNROCA).

๐ Only one day to go until the CSP12 Informal Preparatory Meeting
The Twelfth Conference of States Parties (CSP12) Informal Preparatory Meeting will take place on 27โ28 May 2026 in Geneva, with discussions beginning tomorrow.
This important step in the CSP12 preparatory process will bring together States, international and regional organizations, and civil society for focused informal exchanges in advance of the Conference of States Parties.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to:
โข Take stock of progress in the implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty
โข Exchange views on key priorities for CSP12
โข Strengthen coordination ahead of the Conference
These preparatory discussions remain essential to ensuring an effective, transparent, and inclusive implementation of the Treaty.
