Help ATU members impacted by Hurricane Fiona on Canada’s eastern seaboard. The hurricane-force winds and torrential rainfall, collapsed homes, toppled trees, and knocked out power for hundreds of thousands of people in communities where ATU members live and work. #1u#Labour

Kelowna’s transit workers are in a struggle to fix Kelowna’s broken bus system. We all deserve an excellent bus system that is on par with other cities in BC. We need a public transit system that keeps up with our community.

Job Action continues in Kelowna as transit workers of Local 1722 now refuse to work overtime - and last week, they began refusing to accept fares.
Great job. Keep fighting!

Long time members of @atu1722 were saddened to learn of the passing of Stan Morgan. General manager of Kelowna transit from its inception in 1977 to 2000. You will be sorely missed and our members appreciate you support beyond your tenure at Kelowna regional transit. RIP sir.
Unions fought for the fair rights of workers to collectively bargain their wages and protect their rights. If you’re willing to settle for less, good on you. You’re welcome for the 40 hour work week, vacation and labour laws. #bclab#canlab
