But hey, it's not just about robotics, is it? We also did some research on Christmas markets, archery, glรผhwein... overall, ways of having some good fun together! ๐
Last week the AIRLab visited the department of Automatic Control (RAT) at Paderborn university. We exchanged our knowledge in robotics disciplines involving simulation, event cameras, SLAM, control, and rigid body dynamics, among other topics. Here's a sneak peak to these days:
Have you seen Jonas' poster at #IROS2023 ? There you can see at a glance his work called CAMETA on multirobot planning using #GNNs . CAMETA allows efficient trajectory planning for big swarms of robots with very exciting results!
๐ What a thrilling week for our lab crew in Detroit! ๐ Shoutout to @oplahoma, Hakim, and Jonas for rocking their paper presentations at #IROS2023 ! ๐ And also to Erdal for enlightening us about the vital role of simulators in Marine Robotics during this Sunday's workshop! ๐๐ก
The event will take place on Monday, February 27th, 2023 from 09:00 - 11:00 at the Deep Tech Experimental Hub,Department of Engineering, Aarhus University. Jonas' work explores how multiple ground robots can achieve long-term autonomy through learning-based decision making.
We are excited to announce that PhD student Jonas le Fevre Sejersen from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will be defending his qualifying exam on Learning-based multi-agent decision making for long-term autonomy using multiple ground robots!
๐๐Congratulations Huy!!!๐๐
You did it! Defended your PhD in Robotics with flying colors!๐๐ค
We are all proud of you and your hard work!๐ช
Keep soaring to new heights!๐ธ๐ฅ #PhDsuccess#Robotics#Drones#Proudlab
Huy Pham will be defending his PhD dissertation on Friday, 10 February 2023.
During his studies, he investigated how deep-learning-based 3D perception methods perform when solving challenging tasks for #autonomous#robot navigation.
His findings are a stepping stone toward a generalized #navigation framework for agile aerial robots with minimal sensing and computing capabilities that can carry out complex real-world missions at ultra-high speeds
