@dharmadispatch Social media & e-news have diminished the dominance of media. Many newspapers today survive on govt advertisements. Whether Brahmin or any editor, when survival depends on power, many eventually have to bow before the CM of the state.
A harsh reality of print media in India!
The Congress high command should never have shown such public disrespect to a senior backward class leader like @siddaramaiah. The manner in which he is being sidelined today reminds many of how Veerendra Patil was once treated by Rajiv Gandhi. It is unfortunate that a leader with decades of political experience is now being reduced to a casualty of @INCIndia high command politics.
Over the last three years, Karnataka has effectively been treated like an ATM for Delhi leadership. Populist guarantees were announced without financial discipline or long term planning, leaving the state treasury under severe strain. To compensate, the government increased the burden on ordinary citizens through repeated hikes in petrol and diesel prices and rising costs of essential goods, hurting farmers, small businesses, and the middle class alike.
Despite repeated attempts to blame the Centre, facts regarding Karnataka’s GST share, Jal Jeevan Mission allocations, and 15th Finance Commission grants have already been clearly placed in the public domain. Instead of accepting administrative and financial failures, the Congress leadership continues to deflect responsibility. Karnataka deserves governance driven by development, investment, and fiscal responsibility — not political appeasement and high command compulsions.
The @INCKarnataka government’s caste census numbers raise more questions than answers.
For years, Karnataka’s social balance has been well understood. But now, suddenly projecting Muslims as the single largest community appears less like empirical reality and more like calculated political positioning.
This government’s obsession with appeasement politics is no longer subtle. Every major exercise, every narrative, every policy direction seems designed around one agenda: vote-bank consolidation.
If the Congress truly believes Muslims have become the single largest and most socially dominant community in Karnataka, then on what basis does the continued “minority” status politics stand? You cannot simultaneously claim overwhelming demographic strength while continuing to seek exceptional political and institutional concessions under the minority framework.
A caste census must be a serious socio-economic exercise rooted in transparency and credibility, not a political tool to manufacture narratives and divide communities for electoral gain.
Karnataka deserves facts, not tailored statistics meant to suit the Congress party’s politics.
India doesn’t fail due to lack of policies. It fails in execution.
Aadhaar is mandatory everywhere, yet appointment websites barely work, forcing citizens into queues & middlemen culture.
When systems fail, corruption finds space automatically.
Sad Story of our nation!
Big investment numbers make for good headlines, but the fine print tells a different story!
₹18,430 Cr approved, yet job creation remains heavily skewed towards Bengaluru. Meanwhile, several high-value projects in other districts show negligible or even zero employment impact raising a fundamental question:
who is this growth really benefiting?
This approach exposes a deeper policy failure:
❌ Capital is being distributed, but jobs are not
❌ Backward regions continue to be bypassed
❌ Youth outside Bengaluru are still forced to migrate
Instead of correcting regional imbalance, the @siddaramaiah government is reinforcing it. Incentives seem to reward scale of investment, not quality of employment or geographic equity.
Karnataka cannot sustain a model where opportunity is concentrated in one city while the rest of the state is left behind.
@INCKarnataka
TVS ILP’s ₹200 crore investment in Karnataka is a strong signal for the state’s growing logistics and industrial ecosystem. Tech-enabled parks, rising leasing demand, and private capital stepping in—this is exactly the kind of infrastructure push that drives jobs, efficiency, and regional competitiveness.
But of course, as always, Karnataka seems to end at a certain line on the map.
North Karnataka—despite contributing land, resources, and talent—continues to wait patiently for its turn. Industrial parks, logistics hubs, large-scale investments… all still largely a distant headline rather than on-ground reality here.
At this rate, we might just keep reading about “Karnataka’s growth story” and wondering when it will actually include Kalyana Karnataka and Kittur Karnataka in any meaningful way.
Welcome the investment, absolutely. Just hoping someday soon, we won’t have to add “but not for us” every single time.

Karnataka was incidentally the first state from where reports of LPG shortages began to surface. Soon after, similar news emerged from West Bengal. Media reports now suggest that Samajwadi Party leaders in Uttar Pradesh are hoarding gas cylinders.
At a time when the country stands united, Opposition leaders appear more focused on creating inconvenience for common citizens than showing responsibility.
I have written to Hon’ble PM @narendramodi and the Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka to bring to their notice the worsening governance and employment crisis in the state.
The Karnataka @INCKarnataka Government has failed to create job opportunities for students, pushing lakhs of aspirants into frustration and uncertainty. This anger was evident in the massive protest held in Dharwad, where youth demanded jobs, transparency, and accountability.
Along with Leader of Opposition Shri @RAshokaBJP, Leader of Council Shri @NswamyChalavadi, Youth Leader @BommaiBharath, and party leaders and Karyakarthas, I stood in solidarity with the students and supported their legitimate demands.
What is even more concerning is the state’s response—no engagement from the leadership, only restrictions and lathi charges. This reflects a deeper breakdown in governance and in the handling of democratic dissent.
The aspirations of Karnataka’s youth cannot be ignored.

Your statement speaks at length about past governments—but remains silent on your own government’s delivery.
You promised to fill 2.64 lakh vacancies. After nearly three years, where is the time-bound roadmap, where is the department-wise progress, and where is the scale of recruitment that matches that promise?
Let’s look at the contrast:
⏩ Previous government issued notification for 30,000 teacher posts
⏩ Recruited 6,000 Civil Police Constables, 4,000 CAR personnel, 545 PSI, 402 PSI
⏩ Nearly 40,000 recruitments in just 2 departments
In comparison:
⏩ In the last 2 years, only 8,157 recruitments
⏩ Not even 10,000 posts filled in 3 years
Deflection cannot replace delivery. Aspirants are not interested in political blame games—they are asking a simple question:
What has your @INCKarnataka government done, and what will it do next, with clear timelines?
And when these very aspirants come to the streets—from Freedom Park to districts across Karnataka—not a single senior leader engages with them. Instead of dialogue, they are met with restrictions and lathi charges.
Is this how a @siddaramaiah government responds to its youth?
Karnataka’s youth deserve accountability, not excuses.

For any nation aspiring to be a world power, institutions of excellence are indispensable. History is clear. Alexander the Great did not become great by military strength alone, but by the quality of advisors shaped by strong institutions. India once led the world in all forms including intellectually because of institutions of excellence like Nalanda and Takshashila. Britain’s dominance was reinforced by institutions like University of Oxford and University of Cambridge. The US continues to lead through its Ivy League driven research ecosystem.
Even a simple example like the iPhone makes this obvious. Barely 25 percent of its value goes to manufacturing and distribution, while nearly 75 percent of the profits are retained by Apple through ownership of intellectual property. That IP is the product of decades of investment in research, universities, and academic freedom. Knowledge creation, not just production, is where real power lies.
Sadly, our existing university system has largely failed to deliver these outcomes. It is weighed down by entrenched caste politics, corruption, and excessive interference, which have diluted merit, weakened research, and reduced global competitiveness. This is why new institutional models are the need of the hour, not cosmetic reform.
It is with this conviction that I have consistently advocated the creation of "Special Education Zones", on the lines of Special Economic Zones, and University Towns that attract the world’s best universities with full academic autonomy. I have personally discussed this idea with the Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, Suman Bery, and other important decision makers of the country who appreciated this idea and vision.
Union Budget announcement of five University Townships is therefore deeply satisfying. It validates the belief that India’s future leadership will be built on ideas, institutions, and innovation. I sincerely hope Dharwad becomes one of these Special Education Zones and emerges as a global knowledge hub for North Karnataka.
Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji has recognised this idea and taken decisive steps to make it a reality through Budget 2026. Our Prime Minister’s commitment to building institutions of excellence and strengthening India’s global education footprint has made this milestone possible.
I sincerely thank Narendra Modi ji for bringing this vision into reality.

Why has job creation and industrial investment stayed concentrated around Bengaluru while North Karnataka continues to lag behind?
I explain how historical administrative divisions under colonial rule shaped today’s regional imbalance. Development followed centres of power, while vast regions remained distant from decision making and investment.
Even today, major projects often bypass North Karnataka, deepening economic and employment gaps. If Karnataka truly aims for inclusive growth, correcting this imbalance must become a priority.

Wonderful to speak with my dear friend President Trump today. Delighted that Made in India products will now have a reduced tariff of 18%. Big thanks to President Trump on behalf of the 1.4 billion people of India for this wonderful announcement.
When two large economies and the world’s largest democracies work together, it benefits our people and unlocks immense opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.
President Trump’s leadership is vital for global peace, stability, and prosperity. India fully supports his efforts for peace.
I look forward to working closely with him to take our partnership to unprecedented heights.

North Karnataka already has a proven automobile manufacturing ecosystem.
#Dharwad hosts Tata Motors, Tata Hitachi, and Tata Marcopolo plants. Tata bus chassis are manufactured here, and complete Marcopolo buses are built and efficiently transported via NH48 and rail. The infrastructure, logistics, and skilled workforce are already in place.
Hon’ble Minister @MBPatil must recognise this strategic advantage and ensure Karnataka does not miss this opportunity. Investing further in Dharwad and the wider North Karnataka region will not only deepen the auto manufacturing value chain but also generate large scale employment, MSME growth, and balanced regional development.
If @INCKarnataka is serious about industrial decentralisation and strengthening its manufacturing base, North Karnataka should be the first choice, not an afterthought. This is the moment to back existing strengths and build a globally competitive automobile hub in Dharwad.

Vande Bharat Sleeper tested today by Commissioner Railway Safety. It ran at 180 kmph between Kota Nagda section. And our own water test demonstrated the technological features of this new generation train.
In all their ‘word’ fights, @INCKarnataka has lost the very “WORD” they gave to the people of #Karnataka.
As the CM @siddaramaiah and DCM @DKShivakumar trade barbs and conspire against each other for power, the people of Karnataka are left without hope, answers, or leadership.
Crops lie ruined, farmers are sleeping on the streets, and despair is sweeping across the state. North Karnataka’s farmers are pleading for maize procurement centres, a fair support price, and timely drought relief — yet the Congress government responds with delays, diversions, and hollow assurances.
While the state suffers, its leaders remain consumed by internal battles, faction fights, and chair politics. At a time when Karnataka urgently needs governance, it is stuck with a government that cares more about positions than people.
Farmers are crying for relief. Congress leaders are crying for power.
This is the tragic reality of Karnataka under Congress misrule.

Even after 2.5yrs in power, apart from breaking & renaming BBMP, merging or renaming nearby towns into Greater Bengaluru & announcing projects worth of crores that benefit only real estate lobbies — can you name one thing this govt has done that actually helps the common people?
