All change! The HS 748 cockpit has now been moved into the display hall.

The 748 will be accessible to allow the flight deck to be viewed.

This was the last aircraft to be developed by Avro prior to its absorption into Hawker Siddeley. #avgeek #avgeeks

@AviateAddict @WHGA In the nineties it flew from Ringway doing the Piccadilly Radio 'Eye in the Sky' flights. More recently it was Barton based.

Following the terribly sad news of the passing of a true hero yesterday, our beloved Johnny Johnson, only one place was suitable for some low flying and airdrop training today in the A400.

The whole crew joined me in remembering him as we flew.
