Following the disruption to some of AVBOB's digital platforms and services on 30 May 2026, we are pleased to report that several systems have now been restored. 

While some systems and branch services remain affected, policy payments and claims can still be processed through our manual procedures. 

All 360 AVBOB branches nationwide remain fully operational and are available to assist with payments and funeral arrangements. 

Clients experiencing technical difficulties accessing our digital platforms may pay their premiums using the link https://t.co/84k3pdv6GC. Please use your AVBOB policy number as the Pay@ account number. 

Clients who need to lodge new claims may do so via email at [email protected]

Dear Valued Client,

AVBOB is experiencing a temporary IT system outage affecting some of our digital platforms and services. Our technical teams are working to restore functionality, and we expect services to return to normal within days.

All 360 AVBOB branches nationwide remain fully operational and ready to assist with payments, queries, and funeral arrangements. You can also pay policy premiums using Pay@ at retail stores such as Checkers, PEP, SPAR and Pick n Pay. If you cannot make your payment due to the outage, your policy will not be negatively affected. No policyholder will be prejudiced during this temporary disruption.
