This will not be perceived as an ad by most BMW users, it's more akin to the Christmas & new year light show drops that Tesla does.
It only works because the spider man release is perceived as more of a cultural event than a commercial one. This definitely wouldn't have worked for other movies or products

One of the advantages of custom silicon is that you can optimize it for the general model architecture in this case LLM's.

GCS has gone one step deeper and started making chips optimized for their specific model architecture ( Gemini).

GCS will be able to offer frontier performance for much cheaper than AWS simply because they're even more vertically integrated.

This is not a failure of the sensor stack but the failure of a company (Luminar) to fulfill its production commitments.

Volvo is officially discontinuing the LiDAR-sensor on their cars. All customers with a LiDAR-equipped Volvo EX90 or ES90 in Norway will get a €1800 compensation for features that won’t arrive. There is no retrofit to remove it.

Global 'AI' revenue is much higher than 100B.

A big chunk of the cloud revenue growth is because of LLM usage putting the number closer to $1T.

Also how do you want even define AI revenue? For ex almost every farm, factory and warehouse in the US has automated equipment, Do we count that too?
