@gnominate_@HawthornFC AFL players miss set shots because they abandon natural rhythm—slowing down, overthinking, and changing technique. In sports like golf, consistency is key under pressure. In AFL, players do the opposite, using an unnatural routine instead of trusting their normal kicking motion.

@mitchy_mac_hok@HawthornFC Unfortunately agree. He is not a great sick so think half back or wing is he’s best spot. I also think Sam needs to play him in the same spot most weeks to get educated on how to play 1-2 positions, 4-5 positions. He looks lost at times and poor execution again.
@theage Alistair Clarkson should be leaving when he says so. Greatest coach in AFL history and @HawthornFC want to let him go - madness!!! Love Sam Mitchell but he’s still learning the craft - succession plan 5-7 years too early. What a legacy @jeffkennett - sacking AC. #saveclarko
@HawkTalkPod How is #Langford still in the team and time to let #Frawley go too... Sydney too good tonight but we have some famous name players who lack effort, skill and poise. Tough calls needed #clarko - best now than later in year.
