A meaningful stride was made today in shaping the future of fair digital commerce at the @IndianStandards (BIS) meeting on the draft for Self-Governance in the e-commerce sector. AIMRA National leaders Mr. @arvinderkhurana and Mr. @np0509 , Mr. Sumit Agarwal from @aicpdf_official actively participated in this high-level discussion involving key stakeholders from leading brands, industry associations, and e-commerce platforms.

Crucial issues such as anti-competitive conduct, consumer exploitation through dark patterns, the sale of counterfeit and pre-activated products, and the collusive practices between certain brands and e-commerce entities were firmly presented.

We sincerely appreciate the Government of India’s openness to industry feedback. IMMEDIATE ACTION DEMANDED: END SAMSUNG'S UNFAIR AND UNLAWFUL PRACTICES DESTROYING INDIAN RETAIL AND THREATENING NATIONAL SECURITY⛔

To the Highest Levels of @SamsungIndia Management,

This is not merely a complaint; it is a demand for immediate cessation of your destructive and unlawful business practices in India. Your current policies have made it impossible for us, and countless other retailers, to effectively sell products like the Black Boxes of @SamsungMobile.

Despite our repeated and ignored warnings, the situation has spiraled into an outright assault on fair trade. The blatant pricing disparities and discriminatory promotional schemes, now shamelessly displayed even on your own E-Store, are a direct insult to our businesses. This cancerous inequality has metastasized beyond premium models, now infecting the sales of even your smaller devices.

Our intent is simple: fair business, a level playing field where mutual success is possible. We want to move your Black Box inventory and your other products. Yet, your actions scream that Samsung no longer values equitable and transparent partnerships.

The consequences of your arrogance are now manifesting. Around Hundred respected mobile retailers from #Jaipur, in a powerful act of protest, have already returned Black Box stock worth approximately ₹5 crore. This is not an isolated incident. Soon, over ₹50 crore of stock will be returned from Rajasthan alone, and a staggering ₹500 crore is projected to be returned from retailers across India.

We sincerely hope that the sheer scale of this revolt jolts Samsung into acknowledging the catastrophic seriousness of this issue. Prompt and decisive action towards a fair and balanced resolution is no longer a request – it is a non-negotiable imperative.
Failure to act will leave @AimraIndia with no alternative but to call for an immediate all-India Leader's meeting and initiate a nationwide boycott of Samsung mobiles in general trade.

Our demands are unequivocal: @Samsung management must immediately address these egregious issues and guarantee equal opportunities for all trade partners. This requires an immediate end to unethical exports and the anti-competitive business practices detailed in the @CCI_India report.

Let us be absolutely clear: if Samsung continues to disrespect Indian retailers and consumers, we will escalate this fight to the highest levels. We will not hesitate to seek the intervention of the Hon’ble Commerce and Industry Minister Shri @PiyushGoyal ji Hon'ble Consumer Affairs Ministery Shri @JoshiPralhad and the esteemed trade leader and Member of Parliament, Shri @PKhandelwal_MP ji.
Samsung’s biased, unfair, and anti-competitive trade practices are not just unethical; they are a blatant violation of #FDI policy and a direct act of cheating Indian consumers.

Furthermore, Samsung's unfair, anti-competitive, and unlawful business practices in India are directly causing the closure of retail stores and exacerbating unemployment across the nation.

The deliberate strategy of providing M&F Series phones with exclusive and preferential supplies ecommerce platforms , coupled with deep discounting on Black Boxes in Online, is fueling the grey market and illicit exports, all seemingly to protect the jobs and inflated salaries and incentives of your Indian management who appear utterly indifferent to the devastation of the Indian economy and domestic trade. We demand that the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) must immediately investigate these suspicious transactions.

Adding a gravely concerning dimension to this crisis, Samsung employees have reportedly forced retailers into pre-activation of stocks, a reckless practice solely aimed at safeguarding their own positions, with utter disregard for National security. We implore Shri @PKhandelwal_MP ji to escalate this critical threat to the @HMOIndia to prevent potential terror activities, drawing a chilling parallel to incidents like the Pahalgam attack.
