@burekprincess You seem to think we are the only ones doing stuff like this. Every nation has its bad apples. Look at England and the people singing Ten German Bombers for example. That doesn't represent all of us.
@deannkh10 Show the listing..... Anyone with a brain knows damn well something is being hidden.
Also, 44th in education and 40th in healthcare are not things anyone should be willing to tolerate from your state representatives.
@metaboss84@JaguarGator9NFL They're rough because they're debutantes & low experience teams. You don't see Germany going to Curacao or Haiti to play friendlies. Over time things are going to get interesting, but I agree that some sort of sweet spot needs to be found. Id even argue UEFA should lose one.
@MarkDavis 80k Venue capacity requirement for finals. AT&T reduced to 70k to meet FIFA spec field dimensions. LA is also set at 70k for the event. MetLife essentially won by default. I don't like it either.
@wifiejwn38@EmptySeatsPics The last broadcast event to break 50 mil that wasn't a Superbowl was the first Clinton/Trump debate in 2016. Streaming/online based content is the big draw now.
@bkoo Met would've been fine with originally planned specs when both teams were going to have separate venues. Then it all went to ๐ฉ. However, it's still the only venue that met FIFA requirement for 80k stadium for the final (LA and Dallas are 70k as built out for the cup)
@FarleyWrites Only stadium from the used list that met the 80k capacity (Dallas reduced to 70k for field alterations). If you had seen the original plans for that venue, it would be a different story, but being built to house two different teams became a nightmare and ruined everything
@lewis02958@Cryptoooo81@CharlestonTommy@ja_10117@PolitlcsGlobal@BBCSport Your OP only said England so you're moving the goalpost. That aside, look at the bid history....
1990 - withdrew before selection
98 - France (in region)
2006 - (Germany)
2018 - (Russia) only got 1 other vote
Korea+Japan was in 2002, so since then you could've done a UK bid
@ManagerTactical The script is written for Argentina to beat US in the end of we get there.... Messi becomes even more of a God to the football world by stopping the Americans, and the US can stroke its ego for getting there.
@SPFLWatch Coefficient system (coming from US perspective with college football formerly using it) results in big teams refusing to play smaller teams to avoid risk of upset plummeting. This creates 'tiers" that can never be shifted from a risk/reward mentality
@Cryptoooo81@lewis02958@CharlestonTommy@ja_10117@PolitlcsGlobal@BBCSport You're not using them because they don't meet competition regulations. Old Trafford was told significant amenity & even structural upgrades were needed. Anfield doesn't meet total field dimension requirements. WC requires more venues to meet spec (14) than euros (6)
