Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2027. New update, crossed 6500 voters. Heard 6503 voters. NDA has a 12% vote share lead on INDI, but ground situation in rural areas looks bad for BJP. BJP is having massive leads in urban centers, but polling in farmland is getting lot of adverse reactions. Not much change in seats from last update. Fertilizer has now become top negative issue for BJP among farmers. Long lines, huge waiting times, complex token system, too many documents asked, and finally not getting the fertilizer quantity asked. This may result in a wave of anti BJP votes in the farmland. Need lot more data again and from more diverse seats.

The issues have been escalated but actions are not taken at all. At least so far no action taken. Elections might get preponed. Farmers form more than 20% of the population if we include their spouses. Hard core BJP voting farmers either are silent or some saying bravely vote is still for BJP and some admitting that a badlav wave can come. Note most of the non Yadav farmers realize the pitfalls of a an SP govt with goondagardi. In my personal view, the BJP top leadership is not even acknowledging that there is a a problem with farmers. Sometimes the farmers expect just some well intentioned words, some honest expression of acceptance of the issue. Even that is missing. This is deeply irritating and concerning the farmer.
