Drop Jump vs. Depth Jump
2 countermovement jump variations here, 2 different goals
Drop: Stiffer at contact to build qualities of stiffness in conjunction w/ power output
Depth: More flexion at contact. Goal is to allow full jump load & use depth jump to build kinetic energy
Me: Creatine is one of the most scientifically backed supplements for aiding in the increase of lean muscle mass & overall energy (ATP) production.
Athlete:
Michael Phelps won 28 Olympic medals, eating a lot of carbs.
Usain Bolt broke the 100m record, eating a lot of carbs.
James Lawrence completed 50 Ironmans in 50 consecutive days, eating a lot of carbs.

Twitter keeps telling you how carbs are bad.

A little “offseason” Math:
1. Miss 1-2 offseason workouts, your coaches will know it.
2. Miss 3-5 workouts, your teammates will know it.
3. Miss 6 or more workouts, and your opponents will know it!
You can’t Lead anyone if you’re constantly in the back of tough workouts.
You can’t Lead anyone if the only time you talk is when the bullets Aren’t flying.
This is why the true measure of a Leader will always be in their Level of Toughness.
Toughness = Leadership.
“Man, Why’s coach always on me about going to class, being early to meetings and doing more than what’s required of me?” Because Your Coach Loves You. Don’t take it for granted when someone genuinely has your best interest at heart, because there’s not many out there.
