As Uganda makes 60 years of independence, stakeholders lead by African Women and Youth Action for Development launched a tree 🌴🌴🌴 planting campaign in order to preserve the environment in Elgon Region.

the heavy down pours from the 31st of July in mbale where more than 5,600 displaced and 400,000 left without clean water and 24 feared dead brought to attention of the humanitarian workers for emergency response.
for this matter AWYAD has trained community WASH structures (32 VHTs) that will respond to the natural disaster now and in the future to come inclusive of first aid support ,these will training started will conduct household visits each 10 in two weeks and report.
