@blueorange1212 I’ll never understand how deliberately mischaracterizing a character in a negative light is funny.
Furthermore, a lot of people can’t tell it’s a joke and will take it at face value.
Vivids and BAD DOGS are the foundation of VBS. The aibous are relevant and vital to the group.
This doesn’t mean VBS isn’t 4-person unit with important m/f relationships.
The VBS story is leading the aibou propaganda.
This post is not implying VBS isn’t a a cohesive 4-person group. The m/f relationships are important as irreplaceable friends and team members.
VBS is just too aiboupilled to go poly. They put their aibous above everyone.
@STRAYBADD0G Whenever the VBS story reflects on the Akitoya fight, the general agreement is Toya lost that fight. This video doesn’t do that great of job showing how thoroughly Toya tried to break his and Akito’s relationship.
rating the proseka units from most to least likely to be canonically poly I'd go:
leo/need >>>>>>>>>>>> MMJ >>> wondaho> niigo >>>>>> VBS
@NumbNumbn I agree. Toya having selfish moments doesn’t mean he’s also not selfless or a good person.
I hate how this fandom has such a binary way of thinking and act like Toya is a pure innocent soul who can do no wrong.
The story specifically emphasizes “ball sports”. Outside of coordination and working with balls, I don’t recall Toya struggling with athletics.
It would be easy to contrast Toya with Akito, but the story doesn’t do that, that I can recall.
I think Toya is in decent shape.
wait im genuinely curious why is everyone saying toya isnt unathletic when toya himself doesnt see himself as athletic? obviously hes not extremely weak or anything but since when was he average in athleticism
@STRAYBADD0G I’ve seen instances of people on social media or message boards banding together and doing a troll vote. Bots are also a possibility.
Or maybe the Chinese An oshis just really like seeing An in a suit.
Anyone who thinks there’s no official pairings in Project Sekai needs to read the Vivid BAD SQUAD stories.
One big sign that someone doesn’t read the VBS stories is if they claim the aibou pairings are not important.
I feel like people don't understand what 'the main stories will be concluded' really means
It means the overall ARC is done. Mafuyu will be saved, WXS will know their futures, MMJ will be established and confident, leoni won't have unresolved conflicts, VBS will. uh. on top world
@STRAYBADD0G Maybe I’m biased since I think the Aoyagi family storyline is overhyped by the fans. I think the plot line is only worth it if the Aoyagi family shows lots of regret over Toya’s treatment and that Toya acknowledges he deserved better.
Anything else is a waste of time.
@STRAYBADD0G I don’t think Toya talking to his family will be a big plot point for an event. We may not even see it. I can see it happening in a side story or for one chapter. However, I don’t see a whole event dedicated to it.
@miimirinp The prsk fandom does not care about misogyny of real-life women. It’s all performative outrage to make themselves feel morally superior for liking certain characters over others.
@miimirinp Players who oshi male characters tend to be female. You bully a lot of female players when you shame players for having male characters as favorites.
In other fanbases, male players bully female players because male characters get in the way of their cute female characters.
@loveranhane “Why do people treat everything Anhane does as romantic?”
We don’t. We just treat the things that appear to be romantic as romantic. There just happens to be a ton of it with Anhane.
