@harleyf Very saddened by this. Canada’s core philosophy has always been to be inclusive of all people. This kind of action feels divisive and exclusionary in a way that’s completely counter to our culture. Fully with you Harley.

this is a ridiculous take
the guy has created thousands of jobs in Toronto, sees the incredible potential of the city and country, and is frustrated that people with no stake in the future are the ones showing up and deciding for everyone else. I’m similarly frustrated
to say tobi hates Toronto and Canada is wildly inaccurate
he’s one of the best and brightest entrepreneurs canada has. we’d be lucky to have 1000 more.
we need more people, not less, with the courage to say hard things and call a spade a spade when they see it.
on the issues raised…personally, I’d love to see public consultations stacked with young people and contributing taxpayers who have real skin in the game.
I don’t think wealthy people should get more votes, but in the spirit of thinking outside the box, maybe we should consider if it makes sense to have an age-out age for voting? a way to ensure we don’t create a society that caters to seniors but fails young people. a thought, to get the conversation started.
a public square like X is great because it allows for open debate and disagreement. I’m sure I’ll hear a fair amount of that after I press “post”
Today, we’re releasing a feature that allows Claude to control your computer: Mouse, keyboard, and screen, giving it the ability to use any app.
I believe this is especially useful if used with Dispatch, which allows you to remotely control Claude on your computer while you’re away.

We’re about to stop browsing the internet.
Not because websites disappear… but because agents start doing the browsing for us.
On the latest episode of This New Way, I sat down with @chris_nectiv (SEO/AEO/GEO veteran, now building Nectiv.) and we went deep on what AI is doing to search right now:
- LLMs are becoming the discovery layer, and Google is turning into the verification layer
- Google is pushing toward an “agent-ready web” (Chris breaks down WebMCP and why it matters)
- The conversation is shifting from “optimize for users” to “optimize for agents” (treat them like a VIP visitor)
- We demo MCPs in action: using Ahrefs + Google Analytics through Claude to pull insights, compare competitors, cluster keyword universes, and build strategy without living in dashboards
- The uncomfortable truth: attribution is getting messier… even when usage is exploding
If you’re in marketing, growth, SEO, or product, this one will change how you think about “being found” in 2026.
