The fight continues until Safe Abortion is legal in Malawi! Onward we go!
Have a read as I shared how @IyafpMW
@MalawiPepeta @YFN265@FOCESE_Malawi and @SheDecides_MW Stood our ground amidst intimidation in solidarity with Hon Ngwale as he brought the #TOPBill to parliament.
End control. Women around the world are denied the fundamental right to make decisions over their bodies and futures. They are controlled by men. This must change. #StandUp4HumanRights#MyBodyIsMyOwn.
What makes us more proud of @GlobalSpotlight project in Nsanje, is not only availability of funds but also technical support we are receiving. Thank you
Aubrey Chaguzika SI Cordinator & Joseph Kazima, Programme Analyst @UNFPAMalawi
for ur guidance @unwomenmalawi@YoungWHong
As youth organization, we are also taking part in helping older men and women claim their rights, challenge discrimination and overcome poverty, so that they can lead dignified, secure, active and healthy lives. Thank you MANEPO for partnering with us @IrlEmbMalawi@manepo265
The issue about Termination of Pregnancy (TOP Bill) in Malawi is neither religious or political, it's about women rights. Victims of sexual abuses must have the right to choose to have baby or not @IngaDoraP@YoungWHong@UNFPAMalawi@IrlEmbMalawi @juergenborsch @daveghbeer
As young people we know how important TOP Bill is, do us a favor Honourable Members of Parliament, let's adopt the Termination of Pregnancy Bill. @EisenhowerMkaka @HonKandodo @Pansipam@nancygtembo @SostenGwengwe @YoungWHong@FOCESE_Malawi@cisemalawi
Our message as the Youth is simple: Malawi Parliament should enact Termination of Pregnancy Bill. Malawi`s Constitution is secular and does not place one religion over another. Lets not impose our belief on other. Safe abortion is our right.
