Want to know why POTUS is in TN campaigning for Van Epps?

I would be willing to bet because the Van Epps campaign is sitting on polling showing the same thing everyone else has - white vote that won’t respond to polls.

In the Deep South, that vote is going 80% or so Republican.

Van Epps won his seat by 9 points in a December special when everyone was checked out for the holidays. It’s good for 20 or more in a presidential with a full turnout, and in between in a hard midterm.

The polls are going to cost us opportunities because Republicans panic on the always impending fear of “what if.”

Dems are favored to take the House and a lot has to go wrong for them to get the Senate. But if this were shaping up to be an apocalypse you’d already see it in the early vote data in Florida.
