Today was the last day of the @AZ_Wildfire_#AZ WUI Summit. While there is a lot of work to be done to make #Arizona#wildfire resilient, we feel certain that we will continue to move in the right direction. Thank you to all that participated at #AZWUIS24 🔥🏘️ See you next year!
#SWFECO24 is a wrap!🌄 It was a great week in Santa Fe at La Fonda, we loved connecting with you all and partnering with @SWFireScience on this event. Thank you for your attendance, and we hope to see you next year in New Orleans⚜️
What is the WUI and why are we holding a summit on #Arizona's WUI?
The wildland urban interface (WUI) are areas where the wildland (natural areas) are adjacent to urban areas (communities). The WUI is growing exponentially and so is the risk of #wildfire 🌵
Our first #Arizona Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) Summit kicks off tomorrow in #Tucson#AZ.
We are looking forward to seeing you and for a great week of talks and discussions!
See you tomorrow! 🔥🌵
