Finally thank you to @vietalutterworth for hosting us🙌🏻
What a fantastic evening catching up with the AGTL team, it was great to get our heads together and put some exciting ideas on the table for upcoming events and fundraisers to meet our ultimate goal of a holiday home.
to spend some quality time & respite.
We were well on our way to having reached this goal, but due to impacts of covid over the last year on both ourselves as a charity and house prices we are a step back, but by no means giving up. If anything we are more determined than ever
Treatment can often mean many long gruelling hours in out of hospital from days, to weeks to months. Small gifts like an iPad can help patients to take them selves away from their surroundings and make their time in hospital a little more bearable.

It’s amazing to be reminded of the variety of ‘lifts’ we have gifted and how each one is so personal to the individual. 💛
February 2017 was full of ‘lifts’ and support...
Elodie received Peppa Pig world tickets for her and her family.
Cohen received an electric red BMW and tickets to see Justins party at DeMontfort Hall.
Finally, we gave a patient a wish of wedding shoes to help fulfill his wish of stepping down the isle during his journey.
We really miss being able to visit patients and give them a ‘lift’ during their journey. We know first hand how much of a positive impact the lifts can have on a patient and can’t wait to be back in the hospitals offering our support. 💛

We are sorry we’ve been super quiet on our socials lately. The past year has hugely impacted us being such a small charity bringing our wish giving (‘lifts’) to a holt. So we thought whilst we patiently wait until we are allowed to visit patients again, we would bring you...
#WishWednesday and share our past ‘lifts’, starting with our very first wish given by Alex (the founder) in 2014 ✨
We can’t wait to get back to what we’re all about; supporting blood cancer patients but until then stay safe and enjoy our trip down memory lane 💛 #AGiftToLift
