The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe has today handed over the site for proposed 15,000 sq. metres @MakCoBAMS Infrastructure Expansion Project to the Contractor, @ROKO_UG represented by CEO Mr. Mark Koehler in the presence of Project Consultant Symbion Uganda Limited represented by MD Mr. @MuliPius. The project is funded by @GovUganda to the tune of UGX 96.6 billion.

@ProfNawangwe thanked @MakCoBAMS Management led by Prof. @EdBbaale for its vision, noting that infrastructure expansion project aligns with Makerere’s transformative Strategic Plan and research-led agenda by expanding space for teaching, graduate training, research and other academic activities.

Police needs to know that not everyone has access to lawyers to defend them. I was detained by force at this station and I experienced the highest level of unprofessionalism on this station. I didn't even have a right to a phone call.
