Big Chem and Big Food are trying to slip a draconian free speech law into the upcoming Florida Farm Bill.
It would allow companies to sue people for speaking out about pesticides and food products.
Dr. Eric Berg explains what’s happening:
“There’s a bill moving through Florida that could make it very risky to criticize sugar and other ultra-processed ingredients.”
“Big Food is asking for legal protection so we can’t talk about it anymore.”
“This has nothing to do with whether the information is false or true. It has everything to do with shutting down the opposition.”
“They want to take the word ‘perishable’ out of the law.”
“If they remove this, it would apply to all agricultural products.”
“If you talk negatively about this, you could end up in a lawsuit.”
“Even if it’s true, they could still sue you.”
“And if you lose, you have to pay their attorney’s fees.”
“That’s their strategy… Most people won’t be able to afford to fight that battle.”

As Florida Governor, I will ban Blackstone from buying up and hoarding single-family homes.
Enough is enough.
In Florida, our homes are for families, not hedge funds.
@j_fishback I'm so sick of every politician that gets asked that question just not responding and playing dumb or walking away, tbh if they don't IMMEDIATELY reply America First, they should be voted out of office with a quickness. Behind you 100% man!
@VladTheInflator I can only hope they are all listening to this mashup while raining death upon the "fishermen", it's what I would do 🤷♂️#AmericaFUCKYEAH
