As of Feb26, @elonmusk is the world's wealthiest person, with a net worth >$800 Billion, driven by stake in Tesla & in SpaceX (which merged with xAI). If he cashed out & were born on the day Jesus was born and spent $1 million every day, he would still have >60 billion dollars.
@OpenAI , please fix your equations rendering from deep research articles. Neither do inline on the website work nor does any rendering work when downloaded as a pdf. Spending needless time doing agent to convert pdf to Latex back to pdf.
I went back to this work today. Note to self: This is actually a remarkable application of Model Collapse. Almost a "targeted" model collapse. Useful for privacy-preserving inference.

Berry, Levinson, and Pakes are underappreciated by non-econ demand researchers. They've empowered building a system of demand equations only with market shares and observed user characteristics; it's pure genius to prove there exists a unique solution to share inversion. TY BLP!
@satyanadella is right but that's half the story. "Jevons Paradox": efficiency will lead to increased demand. "Wright's Law": cost decreases as the cumulative supply increases, the more you produce, the cheaper it gets per unit. More demand + cheaper supply is the AI flywheel.
Jevons paradox strikes again! As AI gets more efficient and accessible, we will see its use skyrocket, turning it into a commodity we just can't get enough of. https://t.co/omEcOPhdIz

LA fires to rising interest rates, several factors have contributed to a sharp increase in homeless pop. in the US. We didn't get good data for a few yrs during Covid. Now, we know the trend. Concerning. PS: shout out to the volunteers who measured it
