बार-बार पेपर लीक, परीक्षाओं में धांधली व घोटाले की वजह से SSC भ्रस्टाचार का पर्याय बन चुका है।

इधर जब छात्र CBI जांच की मांग को लेकर सड़कों पर आंदोलन कर रहे थे, उधर सरकार सांसदों के वेतन-भत्ते का इंतज़ाम कर रही थी। संभव है कि सरकार भी इस घोटाले में लिप्त हो।
