We demand a written apology, order of resignation of higher authorities including the former Principal of RG Kar, MSVP, Dean of Students Affairs, HOD of the Chest Medicine Department and the Assistant Super Support on Duty of the incident and they should be barred from holding any administrative or authoritative positions in any institution for the remaining duration of their services. We demand an explanation from the Shastra Bhawan as to why the resignation of the former Principal was not accepted and why was he reinstated in another medical college as a Principal. We previously stated that no amount of compensation can be made for a life lost. However, her parents should be provided with lifelong support and adequate financial compensation by the government and it should be announced immediately. Implementation of workplace security measures including CCTV cameras, security guards both male and female, with special emphasis on why on in-campus and out-campus hostels...The Commissioner of the Police should take strict action against the digital defamation of RG Kar MCh students that has been circulated on social media. With so many posts on ‘women don’t come to India’ and ‘women go abroad’, here is my own story.

My daughter did her three years of graduation in Delhi. We, then, lived in a super posh colony in South Delhi. College was 15 minutes walk of which 7 mins was within colony and seven on main road.

The main road walk was along fencing of a very premium government auditorium which was three min walk. Balance 4 mins were along main road on proper footpath with an institutional area wall right. She reached college gate.

SAFEST right? No shops, no public, main road, no people and absolutely safe road.

Cars would slow down and guys would ask her to ‘accompany’! They would ask ‘rate’. I was sure someone would be doing the same with the guys sister, daughter, wife too. In second year I gave her a car exclusively. No stepping on road. Ever.

Three years and she simply said I WILL NOT LIVE IN INDIA. IF THIS IS THE STATE OF DELHI AND SOUTH DELHI, I WILL NOT STAY IN INDIA ANYWHERE. I DO NOT WANT MY PARENTS TO TENSE UP EACH TIME I GO OUT.

This was 13 years back. She has right to her life. She is abroad since then.

I could afford. What about 95% plus who cannot?

Nirbhaya was ‘our’ daughter. Every daughter is a potential Nirbhaya.

To all the men out there, I urge you: Do not engage in debates with women on social media when they are expressing their anger over the recent horrific incident in Bengal. Their words are not just a reaction to this tragedy; they are the outpouring of years of pain, frustration, and fear born from personal experiences with toxic men-men who harassed & assaulted them, who made them feel uncomfortable, who objectified them since childhood. There are experiences they never shared even with their parents, this burning anger is not merely a reaction but a response to the lifelong burden they've carried.

As men, we can never fully understand what they have endured. No matter how hard we try, we cannot measure the depths of their suffering.
Right now, in this moment of grief and outrage, what women need is not debate but mutual support. They need support from every community to ensure that justice is served for their sister who was brutally murdered by some of those "men."

This is not the time to argue or to defend; it is the time to listen. If you cannot offer comfort or understanding, at the very least, offer your silence.
Do not become another obstacle in their fight against the evils of our society. Instead, stand with them, listen to them, and let your actions reflect the justice and respect that all women deserve.

Better take care of yourself, your sisters, your mothers and loved ones.

Mamata Banerjee has sent her TMC goons to the apolitical Protest Rally near RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
She thinks that she is the most shrewd person in the whole world and people won't be able to figure out the cunning plan that her goons appearing as protestors would mix with the crowd and carry out vandalism inside the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
They were given safe passage by the Police, who either ran away or looked the other way so that these lumpens would enter the hospital premises and destroy areas containing crucial evidence so that it doesn't get picked up by the CBI.

As they were dumb TMC hooligans they couldn't execute the plan well and revealed their identity when they vandalised the Dharna Manch of the Resident Doctors, PGTs & Internees.
Why would someone who has come to show solidarity would destroy the Epicenter of the Protests?
Lastly the protests happened peacefully across the State, why violence erupted at RG Kar only?
