No. Math axioms are usually metaphysics: e.g. there is a unique straight line through two points.
शब्द प्रमाण, can apply also to legal testimony of a witness.
But u accept axioms in math purely on Western शब्द प्रमाण; e.g. axioms of set theory, or reals. No way to test them.
Primary sources in my book (pic).
Unlike phony tales of Greeks (evidence?), in Indian case, there is a CONTINUOUS chain of sources and commentaries (which reproduce the original).
Predates Newton by 1000 years! Europeans didn't fully UNDERSTAND calculus. https://t.co/0jkomv9g66
For those who want details on #decolonization of #math, and गणित vs math see a short list of books/articles/videos/courses/workshops: https://t.co/48t5xUhp4A.
Please let me know if any broken links, typos, etc.
Have named 14th March “World Plagiarism Day” after Einstein, a con man now an i-con. 😃
He stole special relativity from Poincaré. (Short version: my acceptance speech for TGA award at Univ. of Pécs, Hungary, 2010.)
Einstein also stole general relativity from Hilbert (pic 4).
In his 2005 #Einstein centenary lecture, Michael Atiyah, a President of the Royal Society, plagiarised from my 1994 Time book that correcting Einstein’s mistake could solve the puzzle of quantum mechanics.
The American Mathematical Society eventually admitted my prior work.
The Youtube link of the recording of my lecture. https://t.co/FUVeH2zTlw.
This is about finer points.
Basic info in the video of my 2015 MIT talk (which has Indian infinite series) https://t.co/JymCKBl5X0 or the slides https://t.co/pbZdYMZe13.
As ECG Sudarshan said to me: "if #Einstein could steal from [the famous] Poincare, who am I?"
Atiyah stole my correction to Einstein, and the American Mathematical Society DEFENDS the theft to this day! https://t.co/TKkB0JV8xO.
Awards a political weapon, like false history.
(1/5) You missed the point.
1. लोकायत: "deduced conclusion INVALID", if initial assumption (axiom) false.
Trick: West/church turned axioms of math/theology into METAPHYSICS=non-physics.
Which axioms to use in #math? West decides, not real world. You accept its authority!
(3/5) Church fools and rules. Colonized never imagined church (NOT Macaulay) could fool using #math, its false history & bad philosophy.
Today, we won’t check its history, won’t publicly discuss its philosophy, won’t change its teaching.
So, will stay fooled (=slaves) forever
(4/5) 2. The inference (from axioms to theorems) also OFTEN faulty (e.g. chess).
Western authority the means of its validation. https://t.co/VWTmrwOJSg.
West decides "valid" axioms AND proofs. So, axiomatisation gives West power over math.
All use value still from ganita.
Did British bring science to India? No! That’s a MacauLie!😁Indians had science and experimental method since when British were savages. https://t.co/ydvoYmlMDP. ALL early Indian schools of philosophy accept empirical proofs (प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण). Bacon was superstitious n corrupt.
Western lies about “discovery” of India and America (and Australia) are based on a genocidal church dogma of "discovery", still a US law: https://t.co/nF9TpFRsu4, https://t.co/CTe62svmWC.
“Christian discovery” doctrine used also to steal knowledge. E.g. Newton and Leibniz “discovered” calculus, stolen from India. Cheats who steal knowledge do NOT _fully_ grasp it. Hence, bad calculus n #maths teaching of colonial education. Change it! https://t.co/0jkomvrpke.
“Christian discovery” doctrine alive: used to steal my calculus transmission thesis by G. G. Joseph, D. Almeida et al. Caught in 2004, but again plagiarised my 1999 paper near-VERBATIM in 2007. Related FRAUD front page news retracted only by HT. https://t.co/5sY1OgDinY
Aryabhata’s sine “table” has only sine DIFFERENCES. Recursive, NOT algebraic.
Same as “Euler” method of numerically solving differential equations. Cultural Foundations of Math p. 134.
Euler wrote on Indian calendar, made “Christian discovery”, not “independent rediscovery”.
Fermat’s challenge problem unsolved by Europeans until Euler. BUT a solved example in 12th c. Bhaskara’s Bijaganita (pic) Numbers too large for coincidence. “Christian discovery” of Bhaskara made both Fermat and Euler initially famous. My article https://t.co/PA4DtgDyCQ p 1021.
@LongFormMath Also, the belief that axiomatic/deductive proof is infallible (or less fallible) than empirical/inductive proof is a silly church superstition used by formal mathematicians: https://t.co/VWTmrwOJSg.
