Another Ukrainian city is being wiped out right now while the world looks away

Here’s what’s happening in Kramatorsk:

• Glide bombs & FPVs pound the city to make them unliveable.

• Civilians evacuated every day but not everyone is leaving.

• I spent the night with power station workers risking their lives to keep the lights on. Every shift is their own ‘fuck you’ to Russia.

• The war started here in 2014 & locals spent a decade fighting for their freedom - they wont give up without a fight.

• This region isn't some industrial backwater, it's a beautiful landscape with a rich, vibrant history.

• And the difficult truth: Russia is still advancing. Slowly, brutally, but advancing.

It’s uncomfortable to say. But it’s true. Pretending otherwise doesn’t help Ukraine.

If the world stops watching because it thinks Russia is losing, Russia gets exactly what it needs: time.
