@RobertJenrick They look half mast? It looks like someone has died. Why have we suddenly gone down the route of the Americans and having to have our flag everywhere? It's sad that the right have made the UNION flag political.
@RupertLowe10 Why, because it's reported facts. The flag is an unauthorised marking in a public space. If the guy had painred a rainbow flag you'd be going ape shit calling it graffiti.
@TalkTV@ThatAlexWoman@Nigel_Farage The reason the UK is in this mess is not immigration, it's because people like Farage were reckless in the city to the point the Gov had to step in to bail out the banks else our whole economy would have failed.
@TiceRichard You tell them Richard! Stupid net zero, better to spend more money on tackling flooding than stopping a contributing factor to flooding. Totally different subject, how's @reformparty_uk fossil fuel donors doing?
@katierazz@bendepear@BasementFilms@BBC@Channel4 Have left the BBC arguably a weaker and more vulnerable organisation that before he took office. I often questions whether he and many on the board of directors truly understand the importance of the bbc how it isn't like any other broadcaster anywhere in the world
@katierazz@bendepear@BasementFilms@BBC@Channel4 As a passionate believer, support and consumer of the BBC, during his leadership I have found myself feeling let down and under served by the corporation than I ever have in the past. Whilst not entirely his fault, hes overseen drastic & damaging cuts which...
@vickygrayson_ @nationalismfor1 Careless about their children's education. The cost of living means many have to work longer hours to make ends meet or may not feel able to support in that way but they still care about their children getting the best education.
@vickygrayson_ @nationalismfor1 Apologise, wires have become crossed somewhere. Sorry. I know it's easy for people like us whose parents could or are parents who can support their child in the way we discussed, I'm conscious of it appearing to suggest that those parents who cannot in anyway...
Maybe it's just me, could a big reason for not renewing her shows is simply that the BBC no longer has the funds to do so. The cuts the bbc is having to endure means 🧵https://t.co/mLo6gJK7jQ
Already locally produced content has been scaled back to hardly anything. The part time broadcasting of local radio, the changes at local news rooms are leaving us with a poorer less vibrant bbc.
3/ we have already lost our own uk dedicated news channel. The current combined channels doesn't meet anyone's needs. It's sad to see the news department in effect being run into the ground. The whole "digital first bbc" is just another way to say cuts
@vickygrayson_ @nationalismfor1 So because someone can't afford a tutor they don't care about thier children's education? My parents couldn't afford a tutor, they helped where they could, they ensure we got books to help when needed. They listened to me read. Worked for me.
@ZiaYusufUK If this is true then we need to stop supporting their businesses. If they're happy to take money from the British people then they should expect to put money back into our economy by paying taxes. It's one of the reasons our economy is doing so poorly
@HelenHelen138 It also helps for a parent to understand why things are taught they way they are as it allows them to see the big picture and how everything fits together.
@HelenHelen138 It ensure consistency. the last last thing you want is to have a child taught one way only to go home and parent to say do it another. You need up with a child not sure what they are doing.
@vickygrayson_ @nationalismfor1 I'd even go so far as to say state parents probably play a more active role in their children's education. They won't just thrown money at the situation.
