So #L1C4 has a direction. @GoCards athletic director @joshheird has a commitment amid the new economics of college sports: "We’re going to try [as many] resources [as] possible to put [the] most talented teams out there for some elite coaches [to] go out and win games.”

Heird also tackled funding non-revenue and Olympic sports: "You can look at us — our volleyball program’s a lot more important than a lot of other volleyball programs around the country. So that is one we are going to try to fund at a higher level than a lot of other places…"
