Today, we joyously celebrate the election of His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV, a moment of profound significance for the global Church. A Villanova alumnus, Pope Leo XIV is the first Pope from the United States and the first Augustinian friar to be elected.

I’m sorry y’all but #Paradise is in the running for best television show of the year. The latest episode, “The Day,” was one of the most intense and exceptional episodes of television I’ve watched in years. A must watch!
This is a great question!
- $5K for fun/needs/wants
- $5K in charitable contributions
- $3K to update estate docs
- $7K for a Backdoor Roth on 1/24
- $50K in my brokerage
- $5K in my “fun” blue chip brokerage
- $25K small business investments
If someone handed me $100,000 right now, here’s how I would spend it:
- $50,000 into a MF Syndication
- $25,000 on a business mentor
- $15,000 into index funds
- $7,500 into a skillset
- $2,500 into #BTC
What would you do?👇🏼
Gold is not an investment, its speculation. There is virtually never a good time or reason to buy in gold on its own.
If you want exposure, in the form of an investment, buy a diverse commodity and natural resource ETF like $GNR. https://t.co/rr1dRgttaA

In December 1969, the unemployment rate in the U.S. was an equally low 3.5%, yet an 11-month recession followed right afterward. https://t.co/qWTHTjXrYi
A grim picture for personal finance apps. Saving people money doesn’t make money. And most people are unlikely to pay for a service they *think* they can do on their own—especially when they are cutting back. https://t.co/eTZdcMrl3i
Those with $1M-5M in assets have about 1% of their net worth in private equity—it’s opaque and can lock up liquidity.
At least 5-10% exposure is good for diversification. There are few, but it can be done through proxy-like ETFs. $KCE has a .35% fee. https://t.co/TX5MerbtgK
Compound Interest 101: Investing $100 per month in your 20s earning 12% annually for 40 years will yield nearly $1.2M.

A budget is a plan, not an punishment. Allowing for flexible spending and fun is going to make you more likely to stick to it.
Why wouldn’t you want a GPS for financial success?
Most planners recommend a 3-6 month emergency fund. 3 mos. if you are in a stable job or have 2 incomes, 6 mos. if you are the opposite.
I recommended a minimum 6 mos., preferably 12 mos. Better planning has higher standards that stave off financial ruin—i.e., ‘08 & ‘21.
The 2 most important concepts in personal finance are: (1) budget and (2) emergency fund.
A budget is a roadmap to stability. An emergency fund will save you from going off track during instability.
You can’t lose if you get these 2 things right.
