Baltimore fought for this. Maryland is accelerating nearly $25 million to jump-start a new bus division - the linchpin of the BMORE Bus plan and a major step toward expanding service for the workers, students, and families who depend on it every day. Grateful for Del. Edelson and every advocate and rider who packed hearings and rallied in Annapolis to make this happen.
The Democratic Central Committee does the essential work of democracy between elections — keeping District 46 organized, engaged, and represented.
Team 46 is proud to endorse:
Barrington Branch
Turrell Brooks
Nick Frisone
Joe Koehler
Kellie Gaither
Kristen McCurdy
Martina Owens
Natasha Zepeda
This slate reflects the full breadth of District 46 — different neighborhoods, different backgrounds, one shared commitment to this community.
This district has an extraordinary bench of people who want to serve, and I'm committed to working with all Central Committee members.
Vote Team 46 on June 23rd.
Brooke Lierman and I have been neighbors, friends, and colleagues doing this work side by side for nearly a decade.
She was elected to serve the 46th District as a Delegate in 2014 — already one of the sharpest policy minds in the building — and spent eight years showing up for these neighborhoods and the people who live here.
When she ran for Comptroller, I endorsed her without hesitation. Today she’s the first woman independently elected to statewide constitutional office in Maryland history. And she still lives right here in the 46th.
Her endorsement means more to me than most because she knows this district, she knows this community, and she’s seen up close what we’ve built together for Baltimore over the years.
Early voting starts June 11. Election Day is June 23.
Brandon Scott and I go back almost 20 years. We came up in public service together, long before either of us was in the jobs we’re in now. He’s Mayor. I’m Senate President. A lot has changed since then.
I’m proud to have Brandon’s endorsement — and even prouder of what we’ve built together for this city. New schools. Lower crime. Investment coming home to our neighborhoods. A Baltimore that’s proving what’s possible when people refuse to give up on it.
Early voting starts June 11. Election Day is June 23. Let’s keep building.
🚨Happening Now: On the last day of the Maryland legislative session, advocates are rallying for the Transportation and Climate Alignment (TCA)! We’re calling on our Senators to pass the #TCA for lower costs, more transit choices, and less pollution! 🚲🚍💚

It’s 6pm on a Saturday. Do you know where your Baltimore City House Delegation members are? Yes, we are hard at work debating and voting on important legislation for the entire state of Maryland. We started at 10am and are still going strong! We will sleep eventually…
I’m honored to have my work featured in the @ggwash article on the Maryland General Assembly. Stay tuned for the bills that get over the finish line to be signed into law by @GovWesMoore!

Had a great chat with @JohnDediePolSci about all things legislative as we move into the final 30 days of the 2026 General Assembly Session. Spoiler alert, it’s been a wild one both personally and professionally for me! https://t.co/74GkZNAYED
The Mimi DiPietro Family Skating Center in Patterson Park will be getting a $500k grant from the state of Maryland, Senate President Bill Ferguson announced
It's a godsend for the Baltimore Banners, a youth hockey team that draws kids from low-income neighborhoods 🏒 https://t.co/eN40yGEdJP
The Mimi DiPietro ice rink in Patterson Park is more than just a place to skate. It’s a space where thousands of Baltimore families make memories and our young people discover themselves through organizations like the @BMoreBanners.
Its closure is an unacceptable outcome, which is why I was so proud to announce today that Team46 secured $500,000 in State funds to hopefully save the rink for another 5 to 10 years.
I’m immensely grateful to Delegates @LukeClippinger, Lewis, and @ElectEdelson, along with Councilman @1stDistrictMark, Council President @Zeke_Cohen, and @MayorBMScott for their partnership working towards this solution as we identify a path towards the rinks’ long-term viability for generations of Baltimoreans to come.
Each year, I have the opportunity to work with @SenBillFerg, @LukeClippinger, & @RobbynLewis46th to bring money back to our district through legislative bond initiatives. I have filed my LBIs and am looking forward to fighting for projects all across the beautiful 46th district.
Passing the Transportation and Climate Alignment (TCA) is critical to give Marylanders more transportation choices, help reduce transportation costs, and cut air pollution. Yesterday, the TCA was discussed on the House floor. Here is a clip of House bill sponsor, Delegate Edelson Mark (@ElectEdelson) sharing with Maryland Delegates why passing the bill this legislative session is so important. #TCA2026 #moretransitchoices
Congratulations and thanks to the Maryland House for passing the Transportation & Climate Alignment Act. Now on to the Senate! @ElectEdelson@mkorman
Great news! Our priority bill, the Transportation and Climate Alignment Act 🚉🚲 just passed the House of Delegates. Thank you to the Sponsors @ElectEdelson@shellyhettleman and House Leadership- Chair Barnes, Chair @mkorman and Subcommittee Chair Watson. Now onto the Senate!
Great remarks today on the House floor by @ElectEdelson in support of the Transportation and Climate Alignment Act (TCA) that would cut pollution, save the state money, and promote affordable transportation choices🚉🚃🚲!
