@florianederer Even if beneficial for both teams, there is no way Algeria doesn’t go for the win. Beating Austria would make the players heroes at home.
@kingkole5@FCYahoo LOL. You don’t win anything for having a “diverse” team. They obviously just need to pick the best team. In any case, the 1994 team was actually more diverse than this team. It had players with strong German, Dutch, Italian and Mexican backgrounds.
@EverythingMNUFC Your back four and goalie are the same as mine! Definitely some tough choices. I did a mix of personal favorites and talent. It was fun!

@PabloReports@MNUFC@mls has “strict” rules against political messaging on tifo displays. I wish they would actually enforce those rules. Most people just want to enjoy the match. These political displays are very divisive. It is a bad look for the league.
@dunord@andygreder Immigration policy is complicated, and many people have intense feelings about it one way or the other. Sports franchises would be foolish to wade into those waters.
@MattWalshBlog One advantage hockey has is that even in a blowout game the team in the lead can’t really stall the game. They have to keep playing hard because of the pace of the game. NBA and NFL games can get quite boring when teams just try to kill off the clock.
@DummyRunPod I will withhold judgment on the new kit until I see it on the field. I absolutely hated the pink “Aura” jersey. It was ugly, and pink/purple had nothing to do with club history. The rest of the kits were decent but the “Aura” kit was just embarrassing.
@crispychris333@andygreder Many people have VERY different opinions on this issue. It would foolish for a sports team to jump into the political fray. Think of it this way, would you support a team that had a very strong pro-ice statement and allowed the wonderwall to hold up a giant pro-ice TIFO?
