@akos_beres Haha yes, you're 100% correct. But I was aiming for more of a 'fun' tweet in showing the crazy difference in atmospheres than a serious analysis of his situation within the squad.😁
Last week: Playing for MNUFC2 at a quiet NSC in Blaine.
This Week: Playing the Brazilian NT in front of 80,000 at the historic Maracanã.
Wild ride for Harvey this month. 😄
Secondary Transfer Window Opens: Monday, July 13.
The #mnufc FO kept rumors to a minimum over the past few windows; I wonder when we will get our first one this summer...
Nearly every time Knowles is in front of a mic, there's at least one mention of being on the ball more.
Here are some possession stats after 8 games:
10+ Pass Sequences: 22nd (9 /G)
Passes Per Sequence: 23rd (3.32 /G)
Sequence Time: 25th (8.76 secs)
Average Possession: 29th (41.6%)
#MNUFC
@Tyler735_MNUFC Posted these numbers on May 6th, 2024:
Sequence Time: 27th
Passes per Sequence: 26th
Direct Speed: 8th
10+ Pass Sequences: 26th
Build Up Attacks: 26th
Direct Attacks: 9th
So this would've been like 7 games into Ramsay's tenure.
@blahadas Hard to evaluate him when he's been injured the entire season so far. And my post wasn't the full depth chart. Just the 'main' back-ups for each position.
I really believe Knowles wants to play with a back-4, so the positions I've targeted for new transfers aim to fill some of the gaps I think we have...
My perspective could shift, particularly if players are sold, but here's currently what I'm thinking:
#MNUFC
@dunord I have no major gripe with him, but he's just a very average player. I'd prefer him to be the #2 RB/RWB.
I also think the team sees him as a temporary option, since we only offered him a 1-year deal after the Cherrion Valerius move fell through.
@FerneliusHunter@WillCarp20 KEA highly rates him. He said this when Tani left:
He can definitely be a frustrating player to watch at times, but I imagine the FO is happy with their striker who has 0.60 goals per game.
But who knows if this latest suspension will change anything...
@ry_anderson4 I believe he used a back 4 during his entire stint with the 2s. When he took over for 3 games before Ramsay arrived they played a back 4, and he stuck with a back 4 for the entire 2026 pre-season and the first few games.
