@SlurredBirds Definitely! I have faith though that it’ll only be another 1-2 year retool with some competitive football again and then the Eagles go back to being elite for 3-5 years. And then we start the process all over again lol

@SlurredBirds I think Howie makes it work somehow. Reconstruct some contracts, cap goes up for everyone, the one that MIGHT make it hard is Makuba. If they believe he can start for years to come then they’ll have to pay him too within the next 2 years.

@GeoffPMosher I think they saw an opportunity and ran with it. The back issue (unfortunately) derailed his career. Howie saw an opportunity to get assets for a guy who may never be the same player he was 2 seasons ago. Now we see Micah Morris in the run game and see him move people.
